hello!!

about me

Hi! I’m Courtney —an engineer, aerospace leader, and author who’s passionate about solving problems, building cool things, and helping others chase their big dreams.

I grew up in a small Ohio town, figuring things out as I went, without a clear roadmap or fancy connections. But with a lot of curiosity and persistence, I’ve worked with some incredible organizations like SpaceX, NASA, and Amazon, and even spent some time at the White House. It’s been a journey full of lessons—about taking risks, staying resilient, and believing in yourself.

Now based in Winter Park, Florida, I spend my time mentoring, writing, and finding new ways to inspire others. When I’m not working, you can find me doing Pilates, enjoying the Florida sunshine, or diving into a good fantasy book.

my mission

I believe everyone deserves the chance to build a career and life that feels fulfilling and impactful—but too often, the tools to get there aren’t taught in schools. I’ve learned that navigating the professional world, finding your purpose, and creating opportunities require lessons that aren’t found in a traditional classroom.

My mission is to raise the bar on what education can offer by sharing the hard-earned lessons I’ve gained working with top organizations like SpaceX, Amazon, and NASA. Through my work, I aim to empower people to take control of their lives, break through barriers, and achieve success on their own terms.

But I want to go further. My life’s goal is to build a nonprofit that redefines the education system—whether that’s creating a new school or developing a groundbreaking curriculum that equips people with real-world skills and knowledge. Education should prepare individuals for life, not just exams, and I’m committed to making that vision a reality.

By writing How to Be Big Even if You’re Small and offering personalized coaching, I hope to make these insights accessible to anyone who’s ready to dream bigger, take action, and rewrite what’s possible for their future.

Together, we can create a world where more people have the tools and confidence to lead fulfilling lives, and also leave the world a better place.

brief career summary

My career has taken me from guiding astronauts at SpaceX to leading engineering teams at Amazon. I’ve also contributed to NASA-funded projects and worked at the White House. Through these experiences, I’ve learned how to navigate tough challenges, work with amazing teams, and create opportunities where they didn’t exist before.
